Roast Chicken with Cinnamon and Paprika

whole roaster chicken (5-6 lbs)

cup butter - softened
|
|

|
tsp cinnamon
|
|

tsp paprika
|
|

tsp rosemary
|

salt and pepper
|
Preheat oven to 325 degrees F.
Rinse chicken and cavity and pat dry with a paper towel. Place chicken in a roaster pan. Spread butter over outside of chicken. Sprinkle with cinnamon, paprika, salt and pepper.
Roast in oven for 1 1/2 - 2 hours until breast of chicken is 165 degrees. Let rest for 10 minutes before carving.
