Roasted Artichokes

Easy and delicious alternative to steamed or boiled artichokes

|
Preheat oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit.
Remove stem from artichokes. Slice artichokes in half lenghthwise. Scoop out the hairs from the artichoke heart. Drizzle cut side of artichoke with olive oil. Sprinkle with salt and pepper.
Place cut side down in a glass baking dish. Roast for 45 mintues. Remove from oven and serve.
